2024 Miami Tech Summit Announces Milken Institute as
Principal Thought Leadership Partner

The prestigious Miami Tech Summit is pleased to include the Milken Institute, the pre-eminent nonprofit and nonpartisan think tank focused on tackling critical global issues, as the Principal Thought Leadership Partner for the 2024 event on April 17th, at the Perez Art Museum Miami. The collaboration will include panel curation and moderation and leverage the Institute’s deep expertise in engaging global thought leaders and fostering impactful solutions with the Summit’s focus on navigating critical tech policy issues facing the U.S.

Alexandra Schueler, senior director at the Milken Institute, stated, “The Miami Tech Summit exemplifies the city’s rise as an innovation hub and platform for critical conversations shaping the future of FinTech and beyond, making it a great partner for our South Florida mission of connecting people, organizations, and resources to accelerate opportunity. We’re excited to participate this year and build off the three years we’ve been developing programming and convening in the market.”

The Milken Institute will lead an interactive session at the Summit titled “Building an Inclusive Financial Ecosystem: Digital Assets, the Internet, and AI.” This discussion will gather leading voices in FinTech to explore how financial services, empowered by technology, can unlock greater access, quality, and affordability for all.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Miami Tech Summit to explore how FinTech can be a powerful force in ensuring equal access to essential services for all,” says Nicole Valentine, FinTech director at the Milken Institute. “The story of financial inclusion is still being written and it’s our responsibility to prioritize the impact of innovation on individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, and the global economy who might not otherwise have access to capital.”

The session will address key questions such as:

  • How are FinTech innovations driving financial inclusion at scale?
  • What are the challenges and opportunities in designing inclusive FinTech products and services?
  • How can policymakers work collaboratively with industry leaders to advance a financial ecosystem that enables greater economic mobility?

“We are honored to have the Milken Institute join us as our Principal Thought Leadership Partner,” says Justin Sayfie, co-founder and organizer of the Miami Tech Summit.

“The Milken Institute’s expertise and commitment to inclusive growth perfectly align with our mission to explore the most impactful issues facing tech stakeholders and policymakers. This session promises to be a thought-provoking dialogue that will shape the future of finance,” says Jose Felix Diaz, co-founder and organizer of the Miami Tech Summit.
